SIGN IN PROGRESS & STATUS
When a customer chooses to upgrade software, unfortunately, there are capability limitations in what is shown to the customer. This also requires completing several steps. Microsoft was retiring the original sign-up flow shown below and needed a new universal sign-in experience.
EXPLORATIONS
The problem to solve was some data vizualization that showed the progress, sub-steps, and completion along the way yet not overwhelm the customer in the process. Explorations of design thinking and “subway stops” to sign in are shown below.
