Example of a tool for project managers to track customer engagements, milestones, financial statuses
When an enterprise customer agrees to deliver a project, contracts are signed after agreeing on solution outcomes, completion cost to completion and longevity of the project. This tool allows a Project Manager to coordinate staffing to complete the work, track all related costs, track the burn down rate and make adjustments as needed. This tool was given an overhaul with new features and upgraded the UI in an organized and more simplified way. User satisfaction has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic.
Engagement summary
This dashboard of the engagement allows the project manager to see customer contact info, the burn rate based on contract estimate and insights to key information.
Engagement forecasting
This view allows the project manager to estimate, track and manage the project financials and burn down rate based on the estimate for said project. The PM also manages the staffing, scheduling of hours and cost of the project from start to finish.
Research and testing
The following scorecard is the outcome of testing of the above designs. Our team collaborated on designs ideas, worked with a dedicated researcher, watched all sessions, discussed viable changes and handed off to dev. Several bug bashing sessions happened to finalize the build before release.
